PLAYING GOD

I thought that blood and guts education died out with increased litigation.

I remember old science teachers at High-School reminiscing about the 'old days' when teachers and students a-like were able to play with fire, mice, bodies, explosives, electricity and the like; all in the name of science and education.

Sadly, when i was at High-School, these wonder days were well-and-truly over, delegating science practicals to the study of rocks, low electrical currents; and liquid colour changes. Fun, fun, fun....

...and politicians wonder why no-one studies science? Its just not exciting without the sense of danger, and disgust!

Well i found out that the wonder of practical science is alive and beating, but only in further, adult, education.

It's almost enough to make me change degrees:

...here's to lab-rats. Weather whole, or dissected; and to hands-on teaching!
