Digital Dirt #15: Americans Invade - Kelburn

....so Doig and i met these 2 American birds - Kodi n Megen - in Thailand, late 2011. We hung out with 'em a bit, and they were cool enough to show ur round Thailand, were they had been teaching English. Now i made the mistake *cough* of telling 'em they were welcome to crash at the Double Bay commune if they ever wanted to visit Sydney...

*insert ominous lightning + music*

...so about 3 months after getting back from Thailand, i got a message, and the girls were a visitin'. They arrived on the 19th of April, n left on the 26th. They were brilliant guests, but playing sherpa for 'em over a whole week pretty much killed me.

Activities done with the Americans:

  • 1) cave camp in the Blue Mountains
  • 2) site seeing - Opera House, Art Gallery of NSW, MCA, Town Hall etc
  • 3) sky diving (which i had no part in, being a wuss)
  • 4) house party (thanks Jane!)
  • 5) trip down the farm to Goulburn
Highlights of our trip down to 'Kelburn' in Goulburn; below....

  • Camera - Canon EOS 450D (digital)
  • Setting(s) - most with automatic focus, some with flash, various ISO + shutter-speed
  • Photoshopped/Edited - Hell NO!
  • When - April 2012
....flipped ute + no beer spilled = Australian moment.
